Clarence Anthony

Director

Clarence's passion for travel grew through his professional career. After graduating with a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University in Melbourne, he spent 22 years working in various management roles in Sales and Marketing for large corporations. Travelling extensively throughout Europe, Asia and America on business, Clarence developed a corporate consumer's perspective of the travel industry, something he wished at the time, some of his travel consultants had.

Business travel was one thing, but it didn't take long before other travel experiences began to form part of Clarence's repertoire like paddling through the Okovongo Delta in Botswana and then dancing around the campfire with the Polars (local Africans); enjoying a few beers, watching lionesses feed on fresh kill; talking to strangers in a Paris cafe; trekking in Borneo; and sitting in Jazz clubs and House of Blues in Chicago.

When Clarence decided after 22 years of corporate life that he needed a sea change, the decision to open his own travel agency was really a no brainer. Being a natural communicator and having a strong desire to give people even just a taste of the positive experiences he'd had in his travels places Clarence squarely in his element.

Angela Circosta

Angela was born with the travel bug - well, almost. She hopped on her first plane when she was just 9 days old and hasn't looked back since. Naturally when it came time to settle on a vocation in life there was no question it had to be travel. Joining the industry in 1995 Angela rose through the ranks, from Junior Consultant to Senior Manager. She could have stopped there if it weren't for a burning desire to create her own imprint on the travel industry and open her own business, which she did in 2003 with a Travelscene Travel Agency in Plumpton.

In April 2008 she joined forces with Clarence Anthony, owner of Pure Travel, a Travelscene Travel Agency in Norwest Business Park. It was a kind of ying yang arrangement combining Clarence's expertise in business travel with Angela's expertise in leisure travel and resulting in a Travel Agency that not only does everything, but does it well.

Angela is adamant she doesn't have a sales bone in her body but rather prefers to do business by building meaningful relationships with her customers. That, paired with her circus-like ability to juggle many tasks at any one time provides her clients with a travel service that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Leigh-Ann Herbert

Leigh-Ann doesn't just love to travel, she loves to experience travel in every way possible. To her, travel isn't just a series of flights and hotels. In fact, Leigh-Ann has thoroughly covered over 80 countries in 6 continents and experienced them in a wide variety of ways.

From camping and backpacking to 5 star luxury, by way of flying, cruising, coach tours, trains, buses, self-drive, camels, donkeys, elephants, motorbikes, walking, bicycles... you name it, she's done it. Her ambition is to experience the entire world, and she is well on her way there. If Leigh-Ann had to pick a favourite, it would be Africa; it's the one place she returns to time and time again.

Don't get the wrong idea though; Leigh-Ann does spend some time in the office. In fact, Leigh-Ann has been a travel consultant since 1995 imparting her extensive knowledge and experience on her clients for both corporate and leisure travel. She is also an accredited cruise consultant, which requires many courses, ongoing training and of course experiencing a number of cruise ships personally. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

Daid Haddad

Personal Travel Adviser

Daid is an avid traveller and has experienced numerous travel destinations including Fiji, New Zealand, Hawaii, Jordan, South Africa and Singapore, as well as some local favourites - Queensland and Victoria. Since Daid's family originates from Jordan, she has an insider's knowledge of the Middle East which she is only too happy to share with her clients. Daid is also mad about cruising. She's been on several cruise ships and plans to go on several more. But if she can't be cruising there's nothing she enjoys more than helping her clients' plan a cruise experience that's out of this world.

Daid has been a Travel Consultant since completing her studies in 2003. She has Certificate 3 and 4 in international Retail Travel Sales and a Diploma in Tourism (Operations Management). She has also won the International Tom Slark Award for Excellence in Ticketing. Daid has been a Travel Consultant for more than 5 years since.
